The Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Uttarkashi is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located approximately 300 meters from the Uttarkashi local bus stand. Renovation of the temple was carried out in 1857 by Maharani Khaneti, wife of Sudarshan Shah, resulting in its current structure. The temple features a Shivling measuring 90 cm wide and 60 cm high. It is a popular pilgrimage site for devotees visiting Gangotri, Uttarkashi, and Yamunotri.
